Our Mission
The Analy Band Wagon provides financial and human resources needed to help
the Analy High School Band and Orchestra Program achieve consistent excellence.

Due to limited funding from the state, the ABW currently provides more
than 50% of the funding necessary to sustain the instrumental music program
at Analy. This includes the Program Coordinator's salary, new instruments, coaches,
new uniforms, subsidizing instrument repairs and reeds, and much more.
The continued success of the Analy Instrumental Music program depends on
the generous donations from the community. It is with much pride that
the program has grown 330% since the ABW's inception.

During the 2007-08 School Year we:
- Purchased the following new instruments:
- 2 clarinets with upgraded mouthpieces
- A trombone
- A euphonium
- Two cellos with upgraded bows
- A string bass
- 6 Flutes
- 2 Bassoons
- Continued to pay the Band Coordinator's salary to allow the Band Director
to focus on teaching music.
- Continued to pay for professional music coaches to give individual attention
to our music students.
- Purchased a new laptop computer for use by the Band Coordinator.
- Purchased a new industrial hemming machine for use by the volunteer Uniforms
Coordinator.
We have set an ambitious goal for ourselves this year of $75,000.
